Fatal Hoveton Collision: Man Dies, Woman Arrested on A1062

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Hoveton. A man in his 50s died at the scene on Saturday 4 April.

The incident occurred at 2.26pm on the A1062 Horning Road. It was at the junction with Littlewood Lane.

An orange KTM Super Duke motorcycle and a silver Ford Focus were involved. The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The woman has since been released under investigation. The A1062 Horning Road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene. It reopened at 11.25pm.
