
A 32-year-old man has died today, 25 April, following a collision in Sheffield. South Yorkshire Police are urging any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to assist their investigation.
Roads policing officers responded to Saville Street East at 10.40pm last night, 24 April. This followed reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
It is understood that a black Porsche Cayenne was travelling along Saville Street East away from City. It collided with a Seat Ibiza.
The driver and a passenger within the Seat suffered minor injuries. They are co-operating with officers’ enquiries.
Two occupants of the Porsche, a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, suffered serious head injuries. Sadly, the 32-year-old man died today, 25 April. The 26-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
South Yorkshire Police stated: "Following a collision overnight, a man has sadly today (25 April) died and we’re urging any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage to come and assist with our investigation."
The force added: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the collision or vehicles prior.
