
A man has died following a collision involving a van in Smethwick. West Midlands Police are appealing for information regarding the incident.
At around 7am on Tuesday morning (7 Apr), police were called to Cranford Street. This was after a man was hit by a van near to the junction with Alma Street.
The man, in his 60s, was taken to hospital. He sadly died on Thursday (9 Apr).
West Midlands Police stated: "Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time."
The driver of the van stopped at the scene. They are assisting police with their enquiries.
West Midlands Police stated: "As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who may have information about the collision to contact us."
They added: "Do you have any dashcam footage that can help us? Did you witness the incident?"
