Peterborough Collision: Whittlesey Couple Die in Hospital

A couple involved in a serious collision in Peterborough have died in hospital. Graham Tabbitt, 81, and his wife Virginia, 80, both of Victoria Avenue, Whittlesey, passed away over the weekend of 21 March.

The collision occurred at about 11.20am on 9 March. It happened on the roundabout on the A1139 Fletton Parkway, at the junction with Boongate. The incident involved a silver Ford Kuga and a white DAF lorry.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene. Graham Tabbitt, 81, and Virginia Tabbitt, 80, from the Ford Kuga, were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. They had sustained serious injuries. The driver of the lorry was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Police Appeal for Information

"An investigation was launched and anyone who may have witnessed either vehicle before the collision, anyone with relevant dash cam footage, or anyone with any information about the collision was urged to contact police."
