The additional services will operate between July and September 2026. According to the airline, this move establishes Jet2 as the largest operator to Greece from the UK for the Summer 2026 season, with a total of 15 Greek destinations and over 3.5 million seats on sale.

Affected UK airports and new services

The extra capacity is distributed across four of Jet2's UK bases. Passengers departing from the following airports will have access to increased flight frequencies:

Birmingham Airport: Additional weekly Wednesday services to Crete (Chania) (1 July – 23 September) and additional Thursday services to Santorini (2 July – 24 September).

Leeds Bradford Airport: New Saturday services to Kos (4 July – 26 September), an exclusive Jet2 route.

"Summer 26 will be our biggest ever summer programme to Greece, and we are cementing our position as the UK’s largest airline from the UK to [this] sunshine favourite by putting on even more flights," Heapy said.

The airline confirmed that passengers can choose between flight-only options or ATOL-protected package holidays, with all bookings including a 10kg hand luggage allowance.
