Two More Teenagers Charged in Smethwick Murder Probe

Two further teenagers have been charged following the death of Zeshan Afzal in Smethwick. Zeshan, aged 18, died after being stabbed on Oldbury Road on 20 February.

A further two teenagers aged 14 and 17 have been charged with murder. They have appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court this morning.

A total of nine teenagers have now been charged with murder since Zeshan’s death.

Police Appeal for Information

"We are continuing to appeal for information and urge anyone who has not yet spoken to us to call 101 quoting log number 4896 of 20 February."
