Dorset Police have released an image of a man they wish to identify in connection with an investigation into multiple reports of sexual assault in Weymouth.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was staying in the town between Sunday 3 August and Monday 4 August 2025. During her stay, she spent time in the company of a man she only knew by his first name. It was subsequently reported that the man sexually assaulted her on a number of occasions during that period.
Officers have been conducting a full investigation into the incidents and have explored various lines of enquiry to identify the individual involved.
Police Constable Alex Constantine, of Weymouth police, said: “We have been carrying out a full investigation into this incident and have explored a number of lines of enquiry to identify the man reported to be involved. I am now issuing an image of a man we would like to identify and would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the identity of the man in the image or the incidents themselves to get in touch.
