Three-year-old boy in life-threatening condition after High Wycombe collision

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious road traffic collision in High Wycombe that has left a young child in a critical condition.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 pm on Saturday 21 March 2026. A collision took place between a black Kia Sportage and a three-year-old boy on Hicks Farm Rise, specifically at the entrance to the Jet petrol station.

Condition of the Victim

The boy sustained serious injuries during the incident. He was transported to hospital, where he currently remains in a life-threatening condition.

Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the collision at this stage.

Investigation and Appeal

Investigating officer PC Jessica Howells, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, is leading the enquiry. She is urging anyone who was in the vicinity at the time to come forward.

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision that left a boy with serious injuries to please come forward. I also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
