Declan Donnelly Stages Spa Day for Ant McPartlin on Belta Box Broadcast

Dec’s Unconventional Wellness Intervention

Declan Donnelly has taken drastic measures to address viewer concerns over Ant McPartlin’s inability to unwind, staging a chaotic "day of relaxation" on their latest Belta Box broadcast.

The move follows a surge in comments from the public suggesting that Ant appears increasingly wound up during their regular "Hang Out" segments.

The "Mystery Door" segment took a therapeutic turn this week as Dec revealed he had been paying close attention to fan feedback. In an effort to help his long-term creative partner, Dec prepared a series of wellness activities ranging from the traditional to the bizarre. The intervention included the use of cucumber for "cucumber eyes,".

The only problem was they only had an uncut cucumber so Dec had to bite it and give Ant the “slices” to put on his eyes.“It’s a cucumber, they forgot to slice it,” Dec told Ant.

The attempt at "sound healing" proved equally divisive. Dec assumed the role of a sound healer, attempting to create a tranquil atmosphere that Ant ultimately found more agitating than restorative.

The ASMR Conflict and "Doggy Cuddles"

One of the most notable points of contention occurred when the duo attempted ASMR. While Dec experimented with various triggers to induce a "tingle" sensation for the audience, Ant confessed a deep-seated dislike for the genre. The experiment culminated in Ant admitting that the forced quietude was failing to lower his stress levels, leading to a shift toward more physical forms of comfort, including "doggy cuddles" and a "massage chain."

Audience reception to the chaotic wellness retreat has been overwhelmingly positive. Viewers praised the duo's natural chemistry and noted that their Geordie accents became noticeably more pronounced as the "relaxation" session descended into comedy. Many fans highlighted the segment as a highlight of their Monday morning routine, enjoying the "chaos" of the failed spa day.
