Fortnite Festival Season 13 Launches: Join Chappell Roan's Epic Quest!

February 5, 2026

The Pink Pony Club has officially opened its doors in Fortnite. Epic Games has launched Fortnite Festival Season 13, featuring Grammy-winner Chappell Roan as the headlining Icon. The collaboration marks a full-circle moment for the singer, who famously pleaded for an in-game skin during an interview last year.

From VMAs to the Battle Bus

The update introduces several highly detailed cosmetics that mirror Roan’s most iconic real-world performances. Players can unlock the standard Chappell Roan Outfit (with an unlockable red "glam" version) via the Heartcore Music Pass, but the community’s attention has been stolen by the "Roan of Arc" skin available in the Item Shop.

Inspired by her medieval-themed performance of Good Luck, Babe! at the 2024 VMAs, the "Roan of Arc" bundle includes:

  • Roan of Arc Outfit: A full suit of knight’s armour.
  • Flaming Sword Pickaxe: For a truly valiant look.
  • Pink Pony Sidekick: A pet companion sporting a pink cowboy hat.
  • Femininomenon Emote: A traversal emote based on her hit track.

The season also features a redesigned Main Stage reminiscent of her "Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things" tour, alongside the debut of the Pink Pony Club Jam Track.

"Absolute Peak Animation" — The Fan Verdict

While the collaboration has been a hit with "Midwest Princess" devotees, the technical execution of the update has drawn significant praise from the wider community. Amidst a broader industry debate regarding AI-generated content, players have highlighted the hand-crafted quality of Roan's in-game movements.

"Absolute peak video and animation. Hats off Epic. We need to appreciate these things more and more these days in the age of Gen AI," wrote one appreciative fan.

However, the high fidelity of the new season hasn't been without its casualties. While PS5 and PC players are enjoying the visual spectacle, some veterans on older hardware are feeling the strain. One commenter joked, "My PS4 still throwing hands," capturing the struggle of the previous-gen console keeping up with the modern Fortnite engine.

Despite the strain on some consoles and bank accounts—with one player lamenting, "Why’d you have to make her knight armour cool IM TRYING TO SAVE MONEY"—the reception remains overwhelmingly positive as the season kicks off today, 5 February 2026.
